Understanding Treatment Codes
Your device uses three different types of codes:
Unlock Code (Security)
- Purpose: Prevents unauthorized use
- Format: Usually "0007" (4 digits)
- When needed: Every time you power on the device
- Location: Orange label on device
Device Code (For Refills)
- Purpose: Unique identifier for getting treatment refills
- Most Common Format: "CXXX" (letter C + 3 digits, like C419, C473, C600)
- Some older devices may display other types of codes (Legacy NatBio Devices may show a 4-digit code (B-Code, or you can see a word "PASS" on the screen) = these are normal variations of Device Codes
- When appears: When you have <20 treatments left or all are exhausted
- Important: This is NOT an error - it's your refill request code
Treatment Code (always 4-digits)
- Purpose: Refill codes, which will allow you to extend your treatment regimen
- Format: numerical 4-digit codes
- When needed: When your previous treatment set is exhausted and you need to extend your treatment
- How to get it: You will receive this 4-digit code from your provider.
How Treatment Counting Works
Each time you start a treatment:
- One treatment is automatically deducted from your total (on most devices), ClearLink devices count treatments and repeats differently
- This happens when lamps turn on initially
- The counter tracks remaining treatments
- System warns you when running low
Treatment Warning System:
- 20 treatments remaining: Device starts showing countdown
- 5-10 treatments remaining: Ideal time to request a refill
- 1 treatment remaining: Display shows "-1-"
- 0 treatments remaining: Device shows your device code (e.g., CXXX, older devices will show a different code format)
When You Need a Refill
Best Time to Request:
- When you have 5-10 treatments remaining
- DON'T wait until completely exhausted
- Allows time for provider processing and code delivery
